ahhhhh. lo zingaro has been a labor of love. took a couple days longer than i would have liked but alas, one should not rush such things. it was a constant issue: i’d think i was done with the whole thing and then i would think of something else to add. i dove into researching gypsy culture and the Romani language (in case you are curious, lo zingaro translates to “the gypsy” in Romani). i’d stumble across this picture or that and suddenly i’d see a new way to undertake a detail here or there. but at last, here we have it.
lo zingaro blooms up from a well of gypsy inspiration that’s been plaguing me for weeks. it feels good to channel the inspirata into something that hopefully brings a world of joy to those who will come to own it.
