handy sewing tutorial videos: steps 1-5 for sewing a shirt

i’ve always wanted to compile an easy reference area for sewing tips and videos, so here we are. below are some awesome tutorial videos. i’m still torn as to whether i will use these from Expert Village or from YouTube. the YouTube versions give you an image behind the play button instead of just this black void you see with the embed code from the expert village site. but the YouTube versions are pretty low quality though and that’s not so cool when you need nice clean images of what’s being sewn. you’ll see tiny graphics above the vids that are preview images from ExpertVillage. the wonderful awesome lady hosting these is Stephany Jess of Stephany’s Simply Sewing. this lady is tops in my book and i’ve learned so much from watching her. a member of the American Sewing Guild, she seems to specialize in special occassion sewing and the like. damn handy videos whether you’re sewing for small or large creatures! i am attempting to upload them in some semblance of an order of procedures so things make sensce if you’re actually undertaking a project. enjoy!
