behind the scenes butterbeans! it is indeed ridiculously late at night and somehow i am still finding the energy to make a blog post. so tired. but its worth it. it could be the vodka doing the work now or the foreign cola beverage that actually contains that rare and golden ingrediant here in the states: real sugar. only the shadow knows!
there will be a new ensemble up tomorrow. sometime after 5pm central time the hyborian suit will be up for grabs on the goblin market known as ebay. price isn’t set just yet so we’ll see how i feel on the ‘morrow when i wake to take on the day. my allergies and cadre of antihystimines are making me loopy, so now isn’t the best time to make too many important decisions. however, the ensemble boasts quite a few items that make it really shine: a tunic made of fine italian silk (real silk people!), a lovely pair of trousers fashioned of a simply kick ass embossed vinyl that looks and feels like real leather to me—with wonderful chocolate undertones (i look at the material and really think of godiva chocolate cheesecake), another tunic of cream colored muslin and wonderful coat of faux suede (lined in cotton) just to rattle off a few of its ooh and ahh points.
down below you’ll find a slide show displaying all the detailed images of the photo shoot that’s been hounding me all afternoon. …and of course, i’ll make a blog post and send out a newsletter when the hyborian suit hits ebay. be ready, the pixxxie press will be emailing you sometime later today…when its not 2am….
