My consort and I took a photography trip to the Zilker Botanical Gardens (Austin, Tx) yesterday. It was a gorgeous day and a stampede of wild horses couldn’t have kept me in the house. I even packed two of my wunderkind with me.

Here’s a look at a few Koi fish pics from our field trip. I’ll  upload a few more pics from the trip (+a sneak peak at part of an ensemble I’m working on) to a different blog post later today. Somehow I think the Koi fish need to have a post all their own. I hope to one day have my very own Koi pond in my backyard.  …And still one day yet I’ll print out these images, blow them up super huge and hang them from a bathroom wall in triptych fashion.
