My new dress form arrived earlier in the week and I’m totally in love with it. Her name is Isabelle (yeah, I like to give things names) and then within days of her arrival some patterns I ordered arrived too. My first project when it came to making people-clothing was a simple wrap skirt and here’s a few pics of the fruits of my labor.

Brown Sugar is a double sided 8-panel wrap skirt.  The skirt’s front face is a rich chocolate color and its underbelly is lined in a wonderfully playful printed fabric in shades of pink/chocolate (3 panels of one print and a 4th panel in a different complimentary print for added fun). Brown Sugar also features eye catching pink piping all along its edge and hemline (except waistline). Skirt is 100% super high quality cotton and I am willing to customize the fit of the waistline so as to make sure it will fit whomever orders it.

Can be made to fit: 28 to 33 inch waistline (basically customizable if you email me your waist measurements)
Length: 26 inches long / knee length
Front binding via large pink button on outside of skirt and a bit of ribbon secures wrap skirt at the inner lining for extra security of fit.
Skirt also has 2 pockets. Dry clean only. Or you can brave a gentle hand washing if you can’t find a dry cleaner.
