I know it’s a little bit on the uber geek side of things, but I just couldn’t resist making this alchemical homage to one of my all-time favorite pieces of animation: Vampire Hunter D. It was after eyeballing the newest release of this little anime gem that I was compelled to write one particular word down in my wee book of potential names: Barbaroi.

A magnificent cast of semi-malignant, yet devilishly lovable, entities dwell within the city of Barbaroi, and trust me when I say they know a thing or two about keeping their end of a bargain.

“Barbaroi” is an exotic mix of sweet almond oil, jojoba, hazelnut & sunflower oils are blended with mine own hands and are then combined with fine essential oils from around the realm to produce this vessel of daydream-charming goodness.

“Barbaroi” is a tantalizing thing. Essential oil from both Frankincense and Sandalwood simmer together to create an aroma that’s warm and haunting. A smell that is somewhat otherworldly in its warm overtones, you’ll find it rounded off with the lightest touch of Ylang Ylang. A unisex aroma, it is perfect for strange little girls or any manner of lost boys.

Beware wearing this lush stuff while standing in full moonlight beneath or surrounded by old oaks, weeping willows, toad stools, Stonehenge or while lost in hedge mazes. This perfume oil has been known to attract all manner of fey and fairy type creatures in such situations…Some of which have no qualms about tossing you in a basket for the Goblin Market if you smell a little too good or have all your teeth. So just…be careful…If you hear the baying of the wolves and the thumping of drums…It’s probably too late but you’ll have fun running none-the-less!
